Sarah Henry is a current MFA candidate at the School of Visual Arts, where she studies Interaction Design. She is also a graduate of New York University, where she explored research in behavioral analytics, including courses in economics, cognitive psychology, political science, and sociolinguistics.

Sarah began her professional career as a strategic digital consultant, utilizing user-focused research, iterative technical development, and theories of online behavior. After a brief stint as a data analyst she joined a non-profit research organization to study the impact of narrative entertainment on American culture. Her work there required synthesizing ideas from fields as disparate as sentiment analysis, filmmaking, and strategic social outreach. She has also helped to develop new methods for generating and evaluating the effects of interactive, participatory narratives. She’s currently working on participatory design frameworks and designing data-driven systems.
